It has been a month full of excitement and stress. As standard as this may seem, to be a regular kind of life, the point of this months newsletter is heart health. Consideration by our client base has been unexpectedly delightful as we have focused on second hand smoke and the risk it posses to those we love.
Second-hand smoke can encourage individuals with lowered immune systems to experience symptoms like asthma, ear infections and chronic respiratory infections according to the Center of Disease Control. Happiness is the only thing that multiplies by division. A poor man can be happy; but a happy man isn’t poor. Show me an optimist, and I ‘ll show you a happy-condriac.
-George William Curtis
The happiest people are those who are too busy to notice. Happiness is a form of courage. Happiness has to be cranked up; trouble is a self-starter. Happiness lies first of all, in health.
We are all in a position to help one another to do better for ones own health. This is most easily done from a position of example and not just lecture. I enjoy sharing the challenges I have accepted in effort to better myself and I know that I grow more confident in my good choices as I see results that encourage and uplift.
If you are struggling with heart health due to smoking reach out to the resources of the state in which you live as well as your local physician. We are all here to encourage and support you as you work for a day better than yesterday.
