“Eat the Rainbow” and no this is not a commercial for Skittles. I am referring to the multiple varieties of fruits and vegetables that are harvested from the garden or orchard. The advantage to eating a full variety of colors is the minerals and vitamins differ depending on the color of the fruit or vegetable. If you are making a continuous effort to eat a full variety of both fruits and vegetables, you will find that you have more energy without the need for caffeine or other potentially toxic energy drinks. Your body systems will be happier as it they then have nutrients needed to reduce the signs of premature aging and fatigue. I have included a chart as reference for some of the benefits of healthful eating.
